PayNow QR code generator
A PayNow QR code lets customers pay your Singapore bank account from DBS PayLah, OCBC, UOB or any local banking app. QRasli generates them free to the SGQR standard from your mobile number or UEN, with an optional fixed amount and no watermark on any plan.
PayNow is how Singapore pays: the customer scans, their banking app fills in your name and amount, and the money lands in your account with no card fee and no settlement wait. QRasli builds the code to the SGQR standard from either the mobile number or the UEN your PayNow is registered to. Set a fixed amount for a standard charge, or leave it open and let the payer type it. Free, no watermark, and the code never expires.
How it works
Enter your mobile number or UEN
Whichever your PayNow is registered to. A UEN contains letters, a mobile number does not, and we set the right proxy type for you.
Add your business name
It appears in the payer's banking app before they confirm, so use the name they will recognise. Twenty-five characters is the standard's limit.
Fix an amount, or leave it open
A fixed amount makes payment two taps. Leave it empty and the payer enters it — useful for a counter code that handles any sale.
Pro tips
Test with one dollar before you print
Scan your own code and check the name and amount your bank shows. A code with the wrong proxy still scans perfectly and sends money somewhere else.
Register the PayNow proxy first
The QR code points at a proxy; it does not create one. Set up PayNow in your banking app against the number or UEN before printing anything.
A counter code should have no fixed amount
Then one printed code serves every sale. Fixed amounts belong on invoices and on single-item price cards.
Put the reference to work
It reaches your statement, so 'Invoice 114' or 'Table 6' reconciles later. Blank references make a busy day hard to unpick.

Common questions
What is SGQR?+
SGQR is Singapore's unified QR standard, built on the EMVCo merchant-presented format. A PayNow QR code is an SGQR code carrying the SG.PAYNOW payload, which is what makes it readable by every local banking app rather than just one.
Can I use a UEN instead of a mobile number?+
Yes. Enter the UEN and QRasli marks the proxy type as a business registration rather than a mobile. That is usually what you want for a company account.
Does QRasli take a cut of PayNow payments?+
No. The QR code only tells the payer's bank where to send money; the transfer happens between their bank and yours. Nothing passes through QRasli, so there is no fee to take.
Can I change the amount after printing?+
Not on a static code — the amount is encoded in the image. Make it dynamic if you need to change the amount or the destination later, and the printed code keeps working.
Will it work outside Singapore?+
No. PayNow is a Singapore scheme in Singapore dollars. For euro bank transfers use a SEPA QR code, and for Indian payments use UPI.
Do these codes expire or carry a watermark?+
No. PayNow codes never expire and carry no watermark on any plan, including free.
